Old friends

We spent the weekend of the 22/23 October catching up with some old friends. We drove off to Warwick on Saturday morning, to visit Mike and Candice (Manby), and their new son, Hayden. Hayden is just 13 weeks, and like most babies, he thinks I have the funniest face on the planet. Mike has just had a major back op, and has been at home on his back for quite a few weeks. It was really good catching up, and we had a great dinner, followed by the Currie Cup final (SA provincial rugby tournament - for the non-saffas). We left on Sunday morning, and fetched Barry Kok from Heathrow. He was passing through on his way home from Moscow, and we had a great afternoon, which included a roast lunch, and a few compulsory warm bitters. Great to catch up with mates, but also reminds us how much we miss all our friends back home. See you all soon.
